At Mohammad Ali Jinnah University, our responsibility to our students extends far beyond the classroom. We provide a variety of services on campus to make your experience here productive and successful. Counseling is part of education to provide proper information about different fields and guideline for future prospects. To compliment your academic life and help you make choices for the future, we offer advising and career counseling to assist you in shaping your career.
Our Student Advisors are dedicated faculty members, who also work with students as they select their courses and build their timetable. The guidance they offer is invaluable, as finding the right balance of courses maximizes students’ efficiency. Advisors services extend to examination anxiety, assertiveness and advice on special needs.
The University’s Placement Center offers a number of services to final year students for future employment. The Placement Center maintains close ties with the business community in order to adjust MAJU students at proper place, upon their graduation. Internships are also available to students exploring certain career paths. Seminars and information sessions are regularly organized to keep employers in touch with our valuable human resource base here at MAJU.
In addition to linkages with local and national businesses, MAJU maintains several academic and research collaborations in order to promote educational excellence in areas of reciprocal interest. Local and international collaboration efforts include National Engineering and Science Commission (NESCOM), Pakistan Agricultural Research Council (PARC), Workers Welfare Fund (WWF), University of Sterling (UK), Institute of Bankers, Pakistan (IBP) and AM Clinicals, which is sponsoring the setting up of a state-of-the-art Bio-informatics lab as well as working on joint research projects and offering internships and employment opportunities for MAJU graduates.
