A team of faculty of M.A.J.U., along with the
members of the Admission Office, has initiated a public service
scheme to provide the students of different pre-university educational
institutions helps and assistance in the filed of career selection.
General awareness about the most sought out disciplines is given
to the students.
M.A.J.U. conducts training sessions and workshops
in collaboration with different organizations in order to create
general awareness about the changing technologies in the world.
It also helps these organizations to improve the skills of their
staff. In order to achieve this purpose, a number of workshops on
basic computer training, issues related to HRD, Finance, Marketing,
IT, and Management have been successfully carried out.
Workshops /activities on social and sensitive issues
requiring our attention are also carried out to recuperate students'
interest and moral obligation towards such issues. Students are
assigned tasks in the form of projects like: conducting a fire-fighting
training, tree plantation campaign, office automation and community
sales, imparting basic computer and public relations training to
hospitals, Pakistan Railway, Police staff and practicing doctors,
improvement of schools and hospitals' infrastructure etc. Most of
these activities are done in collaboration with different organizations.
