Microsoft Imagine Cup Roadshow Under the initiatives and alliance of Higher Education Commission (HEC) with Microsoft, Microsoft Education Team visited Mohammad Ali Jinnah University on 1st March, 2017. This informative seminar was organized by CS Society. & following were the Guest Speakers: Usama Mustafa Technical Consultant at education Enterprise Team &. Hina Sohail :Technical Evangelist at Developer Experience Team Mr. Usama discussed about the Microsoft products and initiatives taken by Microsoft. He discussed abut the Virtual academy of Microsoft where students can learn online very interactive and beneficial courses freely.

Microsoft also give opportunities to the students by the Dream spark account to access the Microsoft courses and products freely. Students can have access to the software’s using dream spark account which are licensed based for enterprise level. Miss Hina Sohail further discussed about the Imagine Cup 2017 requirements, process to enter and the shared the benefits, she also shown the glimpses of previous imagine cup projects. Miss Hina said the necessary requirement to enter in Imagine cup is to use the Microsoft Azure account for the participating projects, without Azure account no entry in imagine cup. She explained the procedure for imagine cup that is based on three steps :

1. Regional Competition that will held at Karachi

2. National level competition

3. Global competition Miss Hina also discussed the Ideas for projects which will be considered for next level achievements.
