Dr. Ghazanfar Monir

Associate Professor, HOD (ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING)

Dr. Monir has over 17 years of experience in academics and research. He graduated in Electrical Engineering from NED University of Engineering and Technology, Karachi and completed his Masters and Doctoral degrees from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore.
Dr. Monir has more than 15 publications in journals of international repute and international conferences and is currently supervising two PhD and three Masters students. His research interest include image processing and computer vision.
Dr. Monir is an experienced teacher with extensive teaching experience at undergraduate as well as graduate level. He is a member of National Curriculum Review Committee (NCRC) constituted by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) for curriculum design of BE (Electrical) Program, and a member of Board of Studies (BoS) of Electrical Engineering Departments at NED University of Engineering and Technology and Hamdard University. He has also served as Chairman Curriculum Review Committee of the College of Engineering @ PAF – KIET.
