Mohammad Ali Jinnah University is fully aware of its corporate social responsibility (CSR). It firmly believes in giving back to the society and actively participates in long-term and sustainable development of the society where it has its roots. To show the care for the humanity, M. A. Jinnah University offers complimentary education to the underprivileged children of locality of PECHS in its state-of-the-art campus during the gap of morning and evening programs. Education provided in fully furnished and air-conditioned classrooms give boost to the children’s confidence and motivation, and lessens the sense of deprivation in them as well as provide them an opportunity to participate as active members of the educated society. They are provided books, bags, shoes, and uniforms free of cost. This shows M. A. Jinnah University firm belief and commitment to be an indiscriminate agent of change in the society by educating the less privileged members of the society. M. A. Jinnah University social education project started in 2004 with 13 students and 1 teacher of class KG-I and now this program has achieved dynamic success. Currently 650 students are studying. It has 17 well qualified and experiences teachers. Mohammad Ali Jinnah University’s Social education project has completed its 12 years. It does not only facilitate its school students but also facilitate passing out students in getting admission in different colleges free of cost.

Mohammad Ali Jinnah University Social Education Project is giving its best to increase the literacy in Pakistan. It is very low cost model as this model suggests the maximum use of current infrastructure in free time. It accommodates the underprivileged people in the society who cannot afford educational expenses. Mohammad Ali Jinnah University is providing education in existing facilities to the children of poor people who live in colonies of its surroundings. To provide the same benefit through this activity other Government and private educational institutions should use their existing facilities to serve their surroundings poor colonies for the betterment of the environment and to play their vital role in the development of society.
