Dr Farrukh Mahmood (PhD PIDE, Pakistan)
Pakistan Institute of Development Economics (PIDE) teaches me quite a strong base of Economics to Econometrics, along with diversified statistical tools and procedures to produce a unique way of research analysis. During these years, my learning was based on different sets of data, which varies from micro and macro data. I am a researcher with a particular focus on Theoretical and Applied Econometrics with Data Visualization. However, the fundamental purpose of my research is to explore valid econometric modelling, which is not only consistent with the theory of economics, econometrics, and also data visualization, then extracting the true picture of the topic under study. Contrary, I also possess knowledge of different Statistical software’s, mainly, Excel, R, E-views, SPSS, STATA, Ox-Metrics, Minitab.
I have experience of teaching and research for more than six years at different universities: PIDE, The University of Lahore, University of Central Punjab, National Defence University, SZABIST and NED University of Engineering and Technology. Moreover, I have been invited as a guest speaker and resource person in different statistical and econometric workshops, such as; PASTIC, The University of Multan and SYM Professional Development Centre – The University of Karachi.
