PROFILE SUMMARY

Dr. Muhammad Junaid holds PhD degree in Management Science and Engineering (Supply Chain Management) from Taiyuan University of Technology (TYUT). Prior to PhD he earned MBA degree from Institute of Management Sciences, Bahauddin Zakaiya University. Upon completion of MBA, Dr. Junaid worked as Visiting Lecturer and Assistant Manager for two years at Institute of Management Sciences, Bahauddin Zakariya University and Dawood Family Takaful, Pakistan. In 2017 he was awarded Chinese Government Scholarship to pursue his PhD. Upon completion of PhD, he was awarded with excellent graduate title from the University. Currently he is working as Assistant Professor/HOD (Department of Operations and Information Systems Management, Mohammad Ali Jinnah University, Karachi). He has several publications in the prestigious scientific journals, indexed/ranked in SSCI, SCI, Scopus, ABS, and ABDC. He has also participated in several international conferences. His paper was awarded “excellent research paper” in International Conference on Management, Economics and Social sciences (ICMESS-2018) held in Osaka, Japan. His teaching and research interests include Supply Chain Risk Management, Sustainable Supply Chain Management, Logistics and Operations Management, Supply Chain Design, Circular Economy, Role of Blockchain Technology in SCRM.
