Ms. Sarah Zafar (MSc QMU, London)

PROFILE SUMMARY

Sarah Zafar is a graduate of Queen Mary, University of London, in Mental Health; Psychological Therapies. She has experience in the field of Psychology as well as teaching. Before joining MAJU as a Lecturer, she most recently worked for the NHS (UK) to provide psychological services to individuals with schizophrenia and severe depression in a residential facility in London. In 2016, after completing her bachelors in Social Sciences from SZABIST, she worked at the Institute of Medical Rehabilitation in Islamabad, in addition to teaching a variety of Social Science subjects at different platforms. Ms. Zafar is extremely passionate about introducing psychological services to educational institutes and hopes to, one day, completely eliminate the stigma surrounding mental health in Pakistan.
